Here’s the latest information on our trip - in good news - bad news format.

The bad news: Our costs have gone up $250 since we booked the trip - fuel surcharges (including ground costs) and the value of the dollar are responsible. Who could have imagined $4.00 gas last summer?

The good news: Our $40 visa fees are included in the cost of the trip and we do get an extra day in Jerusalem. This makes it a 13 day trip - for some reason I’ve been telling people 15 days, but we started with 12 and then added one. We will leave Sunday September 14th in the afternoon and return Saturday the 27th (or early in the morning Sunday the 28th).

The other bad news: Costs can still go up until we purchase our tickets. June 15th is when all money must be in and tickets will be purchased.

The other good news: We can go ahead and get our tickets purchased earlier - as soon as our money is in and I have all your passport information. I’ll leave that to you. I can have all my money in by the end of next week. If you are planning on doing the same, send in your check and drop me an email to let me know so I can push it on through and have our costs nailed down.

I’ll also need the following information from each of you:

name (As it appears on your passport)
address
phone number
email address
emergency contact name, address, phone and email address
passport number
date of issue
expiration date
social security number
birthdate (As it appears on your passport)

We still have room for 3 more people if you know anyone who’d like to go.
