I know, I know…holytourist.com is a strange name for our website, but hopefully it will help you remember it and remind you that this is way more than a vacation.
If you’ve been around Ronnie for any time at all you know it’s been his dream since Forest Park began to put together a trip to the Holy Land that we could share together. The time is finally upon us to make that trip.
As we prepare for the next year we’ll update information on this website such as meetings, a listing with links to the hotels we will be staying in, links to tourism information, how many are signed up, a picture page and other pertinent information as it comes up. Some of the information we are now waiting on is the cost of fuel surcharges and taxes (they will not be available until November), trip insurance costs, info on the meals that are provided (breakfast and dinner each day), where we will have worship services, etc.
Take a look at our trip itinerary - what a great journey. Everything but lunch each day is included; breakfast, dinner, entry fees to all the sites including a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee and a personnel lift to the top of Masada. How about climbing Mt. Sinai at the St. Catherine Monastery to watch the sunrise over the Negev? That’s an option too.
So, invite your family and friends to come along. Travel is not getting any cheaper and we’re not getting any younger!
